Jeannine van Erk, born in 1967 in Hilversum, Netherlands is a trained carpenter / turner. From 1992 to 1996, she studied interior design at the Rietveldakademie in Amsterdam. Since 2008 she has lived in Berlin, where she has been developing luminaires under the brand bel+bo since 2009. In 2010, she crafted her lamp collection Cocon & Boule Malade, which she presented at the DMY International Design Festival in June 2011 and at the Tendence in Frankfurt in August 2012.
From August 2011 to June 2013 she was maintaining a shop named SchubLaden with Franziska Wodicka. Since January 2013, Wodicka and van Erk are designing new products under the brand ‘Wodicka van Erk craft & design’.
