Animate and inanimate nature is the tangible expression of invisible forces; growth and decay, an endless form-finding process, which is at the root of many of Hopf, Nordin’s designs. Hopf, Nordin are particularly inspired by those borderline cases, where the designer becomes curator, delegating an object’s formation partially or fully autonomously to the input of boundary conditions.
